About the Service Overview
The IIJ GIO CHINA service is a cloud service provided by IIJ Global Solutions China Inc.
Leveraging the IIJ Group's extensive expertise in cloud design and operations, as well as its deep knowledge of the Chinese market and regulatory environment, we strongly support customers expanding their businesses into China.
Service Features
Advantage 1
We provide a full-scale enterprise cloud service in China that supports mission-critical systems and large-scale web services. By granting customers administrator privileges for VMware, it enables a highly flexible virtualization environment similar to on-premises systems.
Advantage 2
We have obtained Level 3 certification under Article 23 of China's Cybersecurity Law, which network operators are required to comply with. Our infrastructure is fully compliant with Chinese regulations, allowing you to use the cloud service with full confidence.
* Level 3 certification is also held by major cloud vendors in China, including Alibaba Cloud.
Advantage 3
Not only do our specialists provide cloud expertise, they also have extensive knowledge in IT security and legal consultations, allowing us the flexibility to meet a wide range of customer needs. With support available in both Chinese and Japanese, we can respond with local rules and requirements.
Advantage 4
Our new IaaS, designed to simplify migration from on-premise environments, offers a flexible virtualization platform with a fixed monthly pricing. It supports temporary use and small-scale deployments, as well as contract consolidation in Japan.
High-standard data centers supporting the cloud platform
With IIJ GIO CHINA service, we partner with Shanghai Data Solutions Co., Ltd. (SDS) to provide a stable cloud platform with their high-standard data centers.
SDS operates excellent data center facilities in Shanghai and Beijing that are designed and built based on international Tier 4 standards. By leveraging multiple data centers within China, the service can also be used for disaster recovery (DR) purposes.
