Three IIJ Services, Including IIJ Cloud Data Platform Service, Added to ISMAP Cloud Service List | News

TOKYO - September 28, 2026 - Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, TSE Prime: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that three of its services have been registered on the ISMAP Cloud Service List as services that satisfy the security standards of the Information System Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP), the Japanese government's security assessment program for government information systems. The three services are IIJ Cloud Data Platform Service, a cloud-based data integration service; IIJ Managed Database Service, a cloud-based database service; and IIJ Secure MX Service for Government, a cloud-based integrated email security service.

ISMAP is a program under which the Japanese government evaluates cloud services against its security requirements and registers those meeting the standards, thereby ensuring an adequate level of security in government procurement and enabling the smooth adoption of such services. As a rule, government agencies and other public institutions procure cloud services only from among those listed on the ISMAP Cloud Service List. Details of IIJ's newly registered services are as follows.

IIJ Cloud Data Platform Service

A service that connects data distributed across cloud and on-premises environments to support enterprises' use of their data. Equipped with a rich set of integration adapters, it allows customers to build data integration flows with no coding. It also supports data masking functionality and closed network connectivity, enabling highly confidential data to be handled securely.

IIJ Managed Database Service

A cloud-based service that provides a database environment on a dedicated virtual server for each customer. The service provides, on a fully managed basis, the functions required to build and operate databases, including redundancy and backup, thereby reducing customers' database operation workloads.
