IIJ Cloud Exchange Service for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect

About the Service Overview

The IIJ Cloud Exchange Service for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect is a network service for a private connection between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (hereinafter, OCI) and an on-premise environment with "FastConnect."

Service Features

Carrier Redundancy via multi-carrier access lines

IIJ's access points support the access lines of the major carriers. Customer can freely select carrier lines. By separating carriers, access line facilities are separated and customer can configure reliable network.
Besides, costs and line installation time depend on the carrier so we propose the best carriers for each customer.

Location Redundancy Also Possible via Access Points at 11 Locations in Japan

We provide access points at 11 locations throughout Japan. Customers can access OCI privately by connecting from their desired connection location to the specified access point (IIJ data center).
Customers can build out a redundant configuration as a measure against natural disasters, using different locations such as located East and West Japan IIJ DCs.

Peace of Mind Because the NAT Function is Included in the Service

The NAT function is required when connecting to OCI public resources such as Object Storage via FastConnect. In the IIJ Cloud Exchange Service, we provide a NAT function by preparing a public IP address for NAT on our side. Customers can also use private connections and public connections at the same time.

Support for Multi-Cloud Connection

The IIJ Cloud Exchange Service can provide private connections for all of Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. Customers can deploy a multi-cloud configuration for different uses on secure networks.
