IIJ Cloud Navigation Database is a service that breaks out specific SaaS-destined traffic from the location. This service delivers routes, such as those for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Windows Update, to SD-WAN service locations. Specific SaaS-destined traffic will be directly broken out from the location, avoiding network congestion and achieving comfortable use of the cloud.
This service delivers routes, such as those for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Windows Update, to the location routers of IIJ's SD-WAN services, "IIJ Omnibus Service (*)" and "IIJ Multi Product Controller Service". A breakout configuration can be realized without the buildout for a proxy, firewall, etc.
* Support for the IIJ Omnibus Service is planned for around winter of 2023.
Since the audio and video traffic of video conferences uses the UDP, proxy control cannot enable breakout. This service adopts routing control to enable UDP traffic breakout.
When the address information of a cloud service is changed, the address list for our service is also automatically updated. Because we have created a template for the address information of SaaS that are in particularly high-demand nationally, the operational burden of breakout configuration can be significantly reduced.
