IIJ GIO Content Acceleration Service

About the Service Overview

The IIJ GIO Content Acceleration Service is a high-speed CDN service that caches web content on the IIJ delivery backbone. This service reduces load on customer equipment as well as provides faster response when accessing websites.

Service Features

Delivery Equipment Is Connected Directly to the IIJ Backbone to Reduce Latency When Connecting to Websites

Content delivery equipment is connected directly to the IIJ backbone, one of the largest in Japan. IIJ connects directly to and exchanges routes with major ISPs to provide low-latency, fast-response web access.

No Initial Fee or Minimum Contract Period

The only fees are the transfer fees set at 15 yen/GB. With pay-as-you-go billing, you only pay for what you need when you need it. This is beneficial for small-scale startups and sudden fluctuations in access.

Compatible with the DDoS Protection System(*1), WAF System(*2), and Private Domain SSL

Suspicious communication is automatically detected to protect against attacks. This service is also compatible with private domain HTTPS (SSL)(*3) communication to ensure security with websites that handle personal data.

(*1) Use of the DDoS Protection System requires a separate contract for the IIJ DDoS Protection Service.

(*2) Use of the WAF System requires a separate contract for the IIJ Managed Waf Service.

(*3) HTTPS (SSL) communication is supported for both origin server forwarding and content caching.
