IIJ ID Service and Secure Web Gateway Service Added to ISMAP Cloud Service List | News

TOKYO - January 13, 2026 - Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, TSE Prime: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that IIJ ID Service, a cloud-based authentication management service, and IIJ Secure Web Gateway Service for Government, a cloud-based web security service, have been registered on the Cloud Service List under the government's Information System Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP) as services that meet ISMAP security standards.

ISMAP is a framework established by the Japanese government to ensure security standards in the procurement of cloud services for government use. By assessing and registering cloud services that satisfy government-stipulated security requirements in advance, ISMAP aims to secure the required level of security and facilitate smooth adoption of cloud services. As a rule, government agencies procure cloud services only from among those listed on the ISMAP Cloud Service List. Services registered with ISMAP are recognized as meeting the level of security assessment standards required for government information systems, enabling customers to use these services with greater confidence and peace of mind.
