TOKYO - December 1, 2021 - Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, TSE1: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced the December 7 launch of additional new talk plans for its personal MVNO services. The new plans, including unlimited calls and Flat-Rate Call options, are for the IIJmio Mobile Service Giga Plans, IIJmio Mobile Service, and IIJmio Mobile Plus Service.
Until now, IIJ had offered flat-rate voice call options for calls under three or ten minutes. However, in response to demand for longer voice calls, it is launching an unlimited talk plan (JPY 1,400 per month, including tax) with no time limits on voice calls. It is also adding new five-minute flat-rate (JPY 500 per month, including tax) and ten-minute flat-rate (JPY 700 per month, including tax) plans, allowing customers to make low-cost calls longer than with previous plans.

The IIJmio Mobile Service GigaPlans' customers who sign up the new Flat-Rate Call option, will be offered option free of charge for three months under IIJ's latest campaign.

Description	Flat-rated domestic calls for calls within five minutes each. Calls that exceed five minutes will incur additional charges of JPY 11 (including tax) for every 30 seconds (*1) over five minutes.	Flat-rated domestic calls for calls within ten minutes each. Calls that exceed ten minutes will incur additional charges of JPY 11 (including tax) for every 30 seconds (*1) over ten minutes.	Flat-rated domestic calls.
Notes	The Flat-Rate Call options require dialing from the Miofone Dial app (*2) to apply.

(*1)For calls between Voice SIM customers using the same mioID, the Family Call discount applies, bringing the rate to JPY 8.8 (including tax) per 30 seconds.
(*2)Dial from the dedicated smartphone app (Miofone Dial) or using a prefix number (0037-691).

(*)Calls that appear to deviate from general use (e.g., calls that last too long) may be disconnected at the discretion of IIJ.

The current Flat-Rate Call options, Three-Minute Flat-Rate (JPY 660 per month, including tax) and Ten-Minute Flat-Rate (JPY 913 per month, including tax), will stop accepting new applications on December 6, 2021, and be discontinued on May 31, 2022.

Description:

During the campaign, customers who apply for the new call options (Miofone Dial Short Calls Pack <5min, Miofone Dial Short Calls Pack <10min, or Miofone Dial Flat-Rate Voice Calls Option) will have access to the option at no cost for three months from when the option applies to their accounts.
