IIJ Acquires the Azure Expert MSP Certification in Microsoft Azure Partner Program

TOKYO-August 25, 2020-Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ; TSE1: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that it has been certified as a Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (Azure Expert MSP), that Microsoft Corporation grants through its partner certification program.

Azure Expert MSPs are one of the certified partners programs in the Microsoft Azure. This certification recognizes specialists in providing outstanding Azure managed services. To obtain this certification, partners must undergo a third-party audit on dozens of criteria, including expertise, experience, Azure-related services, human resources, processes, integration and management technologies, and the ability to deliver best practices to customers.

IIJ linked its IIJ GIO cloud services with Azure to promote its multicloud strategy, which includes offering closed network services through Azure. The firm received this certification in recognition of its technical capabilities in the system design, construction, and management of all Azure services and networks, as well as its track record in delivering services to its customers.

Last year, IIJ received the Microsoft Azure Networking Managed Service Provider (Azure Networking MSP) certification for providers that specialize in Azure networking services. With the Azure Expert MSP certification, IIJ is now certified as a partner in two Azure programs.

IIJ will continue enhancing its partnership with Microsoft Japan and helping its subscribers with their businesses.
