IIJ Launches the IIJ Content Management Solution to Offer Total Support for Websites

Reducing administrative workloads by offering a one-stop-shop for all essential website functions, from content creation to infrastructure management

October 16, 2019

TOKYO-October 16, 2019-Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (TSE1: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced the launch of its IIJ Content Management Solution, an integrated service that offers all the elements websites need, such as content design, production, system construction and administration.

By providing all the tasks needed to create a website in block, IIJ's new solution helps users quickly launch their sites. Combined with IIJ's other services, including system platforms and security countermeasures, this solution reduces users' administrative workload and cuts total costs through its one-stop provision of everything from content production to infrastructure administration.

The IIJ Content Management Solution offers the following features:

Integrates all the elements for creating websites

The solution offers all the elements needed to create a website, including web design, flow design, onboarding, and choices of content management systems (CMS) to suit individual business models. Users do not need to delegate tasks to separate production companies or vendors so that they can quickly launch new websites. The service's comprehensive support, which includes administration, dramatically reduces user workloads.

Produces optimal content based on an extensive track record

IIJ designs websites that emphasize accessibility and usability. Using the know-how gained from its experience in producing websites for numerous companies and government agencies, IIJ creates sites that comply with international standards. This compliance includes support for personal data protection laws around the world, including the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the ePrivacy Regulation for cookie consent clarity in Europe.

Offers server platform construction and security countermeasures

IIJ offers cloud platforms for servers to suit its users' needs, including its own cloud services, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. By combining the IIJ Content Management Solution with IIJ's Web Security Platform(*), which protects websites from evolving cyberattacks, users can also ensure security and governance for their websites. The total package features website design, content production, infrastructure construction, and security protections, which allows users to operate safe and secure websites in a stable manner. Even if failures occur, websites can be recovered through one solution.

  • (*)The Web Security Platform is IIJ's service platform that offers the total security package that websites need. It includes a web application firewall (WAF) that detects and defends against attacks that can come through the various vulnerabilities that exist in web applications, as well as DDoS countermeasures and a security operation center (SOC).
