TOKYO-January 15, 2018-Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, NASDAQ: IIJI, TSE1: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, and its 100% owned subsidiary Net Chart Japan Inc. (Net Chart)-provider of integrated IT infrastructure solutions-today announced that Net Chart has entered into a joint venture agreement to establish EXEO ASIA COMPANY LIMITED (EXEO ASIA) in Thailand with KYOWA EXEO CORPORATION (Kyowa Exeo, TYO: 1951); Kyowa Exeo's Thailand-based subsidiary S.E.C.T. Co., Ltd. (S.E.C.T.); KDTS Co., Ltd. (KDTS); and Millennium Plus One Co., Ltd. (Millennium Plus One). This joint venture began operations on January 3, 2018.
EXEO ASIA will provide wide-ranging solutions for telecommunications and electrical equipment in Thailand and surrounding countries, with the goal of enhancing business development in Southeast Asia.

Objectives

In line with the IIJ Group's current international business expansion, Net Chart is seeing an increased need for the support of infrastructure construction in the ASEAN region.
