TOKYO, May 7, 2001 - Asia Internet Holding Co., Ltd. (AIH; Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Koichi Suzuki) announced today that AIH expands the service coverage of "A-Bone VPN Service", the Asia-wide managed IP-VPN service provided by AIH, to Korea by cooperating with one of Korea's leading Internet Service Providers, Hanaro Telecom, Inc. ("Hanaro"; Seoul, Korea; President: Yun-Sik Shin).

By adding Korea, the service area of "A-Bone VPN Service" is extended to 7 countries since its inception in August 2000 (please see below). AIH will continue to contribute to the opportunities for development of business in Asia by providing faster and more-reliable transmission of data between Asian countries.
