Widely Integrated Distributed Environment (WIDE) Project

Widely Integrated Distributed Environment (WIDE) was started by Mr. Jun Murakami of Keio University in Japan and researchers of scientific organizations such as universities and commercial enterprises. WIDE project is leading Internet in Japan by engaging in research and development on issues such as protocols, operation of the Internet, security, multi-cast communications and tunneling technology.
