2004 Apr. IIJ Media Communications launched IPv6 Live Broadcasting service (Japan's first)
Oct. Established as a 100% owned subsidiary of IIJ Technology in September 2004, IIJ Financial Systems Inc. received a transfer of business from Yamatane Corporation.'s securities system division. (The company was merged with IIJ Technology in 2010)
2005 Feb. Internet Multifeed participated in Europe's largest IX carrier group, Euro-IX (Japan's first)
Mar. Participated in as a founding member in the establishment of the Japan Email Anti-Abuse Group (JEAG), a working group on anti-spam measures.
Mar. Began introducing sender authentication technology (Japan's first)
Oct. Reorganized part of IIJ Group
